SK server

So Woody let this be the 5th reminder now for you can you please add scramble teams somehow or someway for sk so stacking stops?

Also Wozniak/pink monkey few other people asked me to ask you if you wouldn't mind checking gameme and seeing maybe somehow you could change the points ppl get for kills with knife as you get 25 points now and they think it would be better since knifing is easier if they can get it dropped. Apparently they said you can go in and change the weapon modifier for knife to 1.0 instead of 2.0 as default? not sure

Also another thing for night time fun could we have the sm_giveweapon commands back?

 

Agreed on the knife part. The way gameME is currently configured takes into account knifing players in a regular game, justifying the points that are being given now. If this were changed to make Headshots more rewarding with points (while leaving the scout points the same) and lowering the amount of points given to players for knifing... It may encourage people to actually try to learn how to shoot and improve their aim. Rather than flying around all the time. Would probably increase the server population some if people actually start shooting more and knifing less. It's hard enough on the new players as is.

 

Scramble teams is the biggest thing i've wanted as ppl stack verses new ppl and then the server gets cleared out. Very unfair!

The Give commands is only for late night time fun when people such as pharm and others are just strafing around chatting wasnt too worried about it honestly but i had a few ppl asking if i could give usp to have a little fun here and there.

Far as the points go yeah that's all your decision. I kinda agree that it would turn ppl from knifing more as that's what all US SK servers are all about now compared to EU servers. But then again "who cares about points and rank?" Atleast I don't i've recently reset my full gameme stats. I only look towards headshot percentage and kdr as i heard knifers saying they only look towards specific stats as well.
