Trolling excessively, pretending to use hacks. Also, he uses our logo as his profile picture despite not being a member. I asked him once to either change or apply to become a member, but he refused to do either. I asked him a second time today, but he ignored me.

I checked his chat logs I do believe he is in order of a gag. Far as him using our logo as his picture that is not an issue. It actually helps advertise our community and servers and I don't see anything negative by it. Thanks for the report!

 

Per the Member Conduct Agreement, if one of our members trolls another server or community, they lose their right to bear our tag. This is a player who enjoys trolling and is representing our community while doing so. That's not a good advertisement.

 

Well think about it. We perm gag/mute him he can't troll on our servers, but can on others while having our picture on his steam profile. We perm ban him same thing occurs he can still have the picture and troll in other servers. So initially there is nothing we can do to force him to change his "personal profile picture" therefore I see it as he is advertising still whether he chooses to troll or not.

May I also add I have added him on steam if he accepts I will try and have a reasonable talk with him.

 

Naturally we can't force him to do anything by threat of punishment, but we should be able to through other means. Kabooshka is a good friend of his. He should be able to convince him.

 

Correct, Like I said I have added him to try to reasonably talk to him. I have already perm gagged him. I'll wait and see how the conversation goes with him before progressing further.

 

Yeah, I told my friend to change it, after -VG- Khan told me, but then he refused to, even thought I told Kaf many times.

 

It's fine guys don't worry about it. I have had a talk with him on steam and he agreed to chill out. I am going to keep him gagged but he can continue to use his mic. If he causes issues on mic as well then just go ahead and mute him.

I don't know, I think he is just mad that he got a gag, he does have scripts which function as cheats.. but I think he is just furious about a little gag.

Apparently he doesn't want to come forward about the situation. As he only marked Woody's post as "agree".

 

- Kafinaks and OPZ messaged each other for a little while at around midnight Eastern Time. When they were done, Kafinaks went offline. A few minutes later, Kabooshka went online, posted a condemning chat log between himself and Kafinaks that revealed his intent to try to gain respect of the VG community, and started messaging me.

- After being confronted about the two not being online at the same time, the Kafinaks account went online and joined the VG Lazytown server. Kabooshka showed up as Online via Web; this means he was not signed into the Steam client but was signed in through a browser, likely the in-game browser. I spectated Kafinaks while sending messages to Kabooshka. Kabooshka was probably aware of what I was doing, however, and did not reply to my messages until after I left the server.

- GameME shows that this was the first time that the Kafinaks account connected to the Lazytown server. It is, however, a server that Kabooshka plays on and seems to be comfortable on. It is strange that Kafinaks would join a server that he had never played on before; however, it is not at all surprising that Kabooshka would choose this server to attempt to fool us into thinking that he was a separate entity from Kafinaks.

- Kabooshka claimed that Kafinaks is a friend who lives approximately 30 minutes away. He claimed that he comes over sometimes and that is why the same IP showed up. I asked when Kafinaks last came over, and Kabooshka said it was about a week ago. Woody's screenshot shows that the duplicate IP was from tonight.

 

As well as I just ran the IP again and same IP. If he was at another "house" it would obviously show a new IP since he was just on Lazytown. Anyways I am going to let Woody or Gotcha deal with it if they don't mind since it's a member pulling stunts.

 

What do you guys have against me and my brother using the same computer? He has a tablet right now, but he is getting a computer next birthday, so then there will be a different IP showing up, however right now since we use the same account different accounts are popping up from the same computer. Does that explain the confusion?

 

No, that doesn't explain it because you told me that Kafinaks is your friend, not your brother, and Kafinaks has the same IP address as you.
