Detailed Explanation with Screenshots/Demos::

A player on the 2Fort server alerted aa4life that there was an aimbotter on the server. aa4life passed that on to me, so I went to check it out incognito. aa4life also joined the server and asked who the suspect was. Unfortunately, that made it slightly more difficult as the suspect was spooked by the accusing chat and switched away from sniper class.

I watched the player carefully as he was playing engineer and looked for a sign that he was still hacking. It looked to me like he had toggled his aimbot off but still had wallhacks enabled, so I issued a week ban.

For review, here is the demo I recorded.

The Steam Community profile for the user has not been set up, and it just received a VAC ban. And then there's the generic discriminatory name. I also reviewed the events recorded by GameME from while he was playing sniper, and every kill was a headshot, including a couple airshot headshots. I maybe should have recorded a little bit more footage, but it's still a pretty clear-cut case.​

 

@Count Dracula OPZ , @Woody I need an IP ban ASAP. Using a third account now to hack on the server.

Did you ban the IP? He connected again with a new alt account and I had to go back and ban him again.

 

^ And he tried to reconnect a third time, which should provide an explanation for my hurried message before.
