Detailed Explanation with Screenshots/Demos::

There was a guy on dust/office that was being racist and even though I warned him to cut it out he continued. I was under an alias because I thought I could get more out of him if he didn't know I was an admin. I didn't take any screenshots because I figured u could just check the logs. I banned him for 30 minutes I don't know if it should've been longer or shorter. If I did anything wrong let me know.​

We have a comms menu for a reason. Please use gag/mute next time.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I also believe you shouldn't have hidden under an alias in this situation. Give the guy a proper admin warning before issuing punishment.

 

All right, my bad. Totally forgot about gagging/muting him. Next time I will take the proper steps before banning

 

I was going to mention that last night as I kind of felt like if you're changing alias just too see what they'd say or do then you're basically baiting them kind of in ways.

So yes I'd suggest not doing it under another alias in those circumstances, but I can understand on "reasonings". Example if you have already followed the proper protocols of warn/kick and are wanting to see if they return and break motd rules while admin is not there. Then of course I can understand.
