I've actually been raised in an Amish community of only males. This is the first time I've ever met a female.

For those of u who don't know what Amish people are let me clarify.
Amish- Religion located in the USA, established in Europe but because of their beliefs that old school is the best thing ever had to move relocate to America.

Amish people believe in the almighty oldeysckooley god. to honour him they live like people did during the 17th century. however they have a crazy period called "Rumspringa" at an age of 16 they have had enough of the old ways and go out and explore the world, they mostly end up as drug-addicts or going back to the Amish culture.

 

uh, okay then.. I actually been living around the amish my entire life. I don't live there life obviously, but I live in the middle of farm lands which is nothing but filed with amish lands as well.

That looks sooo nice, I'd love to live out in the country. Except it's far away from everything!

 

I love it here, the downside too it is exactly like you said you live so far from everything. Like literally the closest walmart etc is like 45 minutes or so away. The closest grocery store is about 30 minutes away. So basically you better have a shopping list before you leave so you don't forget anything.

Also the internet sucks!!!!! I only have 10 meg net with .800 up and they were the only internet company that offered net here. A few months ago Comcast finally came into our area and were offering deals since they're new I had recently called them to try to get net hooked up and I just recieved a letter in the mail today saying they want $990.22 to get hooked up. RIDICULOUS... no one is going to pay that.
