[SMALL] Donation Perks

Hey I have seen some servers with these perks and I think it will be great to have them these are the ones I saw.


All these suggestion are what I saw in some servers.

-head# (RESIZES YOUR HEAD)

-tail (GIVE TO YOURSELF A TAIL LIKE FOX TAIL, PONY TAIL, CAPE, PONY WINGS)

-vipchat (SET A COLOR O YOUR CHAT)

-skybox (ON MARIO KART GO STRAIGHT TO THE SKY BOX)

-saxxy (EQUIP A SAXXY WEAPON)

-trail (ANIMTAED TRAILS)

-hatunusual (SET UNUSUAL EFFECT TO YOUR HATS)

-GRAVESTONE APPEARS WHEN YOU DIE

-EVERY KILLS TURN INTO GOLDEN STATUES

-CHANGE YOUR TAG AND COLORS

-SELECTING KILLSTREAK EFFECT ON WEAPONS

 

Wow now thats a list of potential VIP perks.

 

Thanks I would really love seing those new perks but one thing i can't take the credit I saw it on some servers and I should change the [SMALL] tag and may you please add all of them? I think with more perks people could get VIP more often because I just see 1 more VIP than me not more.

We can add these but it may take time. We got to script them into the server.

 

Well I would just love to have all of them I understand it will take time but I'm sure it will be worth it!

 

It's always good to hear how we can expand and improve our servers and our VIP system. Here below are my personal opinions on these ideas; I don't agree with all of the ideas, but I think that some of them would be good for our VIP system.

-head# (RESIZES YOUR HEAD)
I would disapprove of this one. Smaller heads would be a competitive advantage on our more "serious" maps, and we've had issues before with VIP commands that gave people advantages. I wouldn't expect to see anyone use it to make their heads larger with the exception of on MarioKart, the reason being that there are 100% crits on that server and it doesn't matter whether an opposing sniper shoots at your head or body.

I wouldn't be interested in having this as VIP, but I guess it's fine if a bunch of other people want it.

Absolutely. This is something that is already in the works, bugs with the command have delayed the release.

-skybox (ON MARIO KART GO STRAIGHT TO THE SKY BOX)
Personally, I don't think it makes much sense to provide a map-specific perk unless we were to have map-specific perks for every other server as well, and I don't see that as being likely to happen.

-saxxy (EQUIP A SAXXY WEAPON)
This one sounds fine, although I probably wouldn't use it myself.

-trail (ANIMTAED TRAILS)
We already have Halloween footsteps available to VIPs. Would that be what you are referring to?

-hatunusual (SET UNUSUAL EFFECT TO YOUR HATS)
I disapprove of this one because it devalues actually having an unusual hat. I think it's best to just stick with the perk for unusual effects for weapons. In my opinion, VIP perks should give people the ability to show off stuff you can't get any other way, not to create the illusion of having something you could have without VIP.

-GRAVESTONE APPEARS WHEN YOU DIE
I like what I've seen from gravestone plugins.

-EVERY KILLS TURN INTO GOLDEN STATUES
I would approve of this with the limitation that it be restricted to kills from melee weapons. I don't think we want to implement too many things that are going to be taxing on server and client performance.

-CHANGE YOUR TAG AND COLORS
Same story as with the vipchat idea.

-SELECTING KILLSTREAK EFFECT ON WEAPONS
As with the unusual hat effects, I wouldn't like this because it devalues actually having a killstreak weapon. It could also make for some weird conflicts with multiple killstreak effects trying to stack. I'm not confident that this would be a good option.

 

Ok its true on sume wouldnt be that cool but In animated trails I mean like Ghost Following, Explosions, Lines,etc. On the normal they are just fire with colors.

The skybox I think it should be added its a pain to get into there as a engineer or with any other class if you don't have sticky jumpers.
