No, not any direct proof, but they did mention it when Windows was first released. However, I assume it's pretty common sense also to realize that it's true. It was first released for tablets and touch screens to make it more reliable and faster and to keep up with android OS. Obviously if you think about it the way Windows 8 operates it makes perfect sense. Once they seen regular pcs were having a ton of issues they then decided to update it to 8.1 to run more smoothly.

Okay, so it seems alright. I haven't had any BSOD's yet, although my game did crash(Its still in Beta, its expected) I was looking though MSi Afterburner, and I noticed that my GPU wasn't there like it usually is. I restarted my computer because whenever a game crashes and my computer doesn't actually BSOD, the process hangs in the 'background processes' on task manager but I can't play them.(Another problem I have) I just took another look at MSi Afterburner and it isn't recognizing my nVidia graphics card. I'm probably going to try playing a few crash-prone games and see what happens.

Yup, try reinstalling the afterburner program or whatever it is and see if that works.

I actually did another complete uninstall of my driver, but I also got rid of GeForce experience and I also used that program you gave me Drac and it got rid of some more stuff(Including the driver I download to install after restart  so I had to reinstall it AGAIN. for like the third time) but, my card is showing up in Afterburner again. (Afterburner came with my computer, It is an MSi overclocking control panel)

There is never any need to overclock a GPU you can get like 5 fps max on most cards
CPU on the other hand, there is a big difference

Of course, I heard 8.1 was in good standings at this time. I know a lot of Twitch streamers that are in use of 8.1 and they say they seen a huge difference from windows 7.

I'm pretty sure my graphics card went bad. After contacting Nvidia support they told me to either refresh or it was bad. I really dont want to refresh because y'know it'll take like a week to re-install everything. Thanks for the help everyone. :\
