Warned him about his racism, checked chat logs, uses racism quite a bit, temp gag/mute to get his attention. I don't know how to link someones chat logs....​

 

Chat Logs

Strange, I have never had issues with him in the past, not sure why all of a sudden he is deciding to break the motd rules.

I have issued a 12 hour mute/gag for now to get his attention. For mute/gags 50mhz, like I said before you can go into your admin menu and go to the comms menu and gag/mute a player temporary if they insist to break the motd rules after a warning.

 

Only reason I didn't do it, is because i told him to watch it, he stopped, but then I got curious because I have never seen him be racist, so I checked chat logs and found him being racist a whole bunch.

Sadly the one fiddy saw was a slip i did not intend.

All in All, i dont see how it can be described as racist when i dont even know the dudes skin color. Just like "faggot" has transcended its colloquial meaning on the internet to mean someone of generally unlikeable personality traits regardless of what they are. Completely different than discrimination based on if you suck dick or not.

 

Im not using this as an argument to your rules, just, stating what happened, i wont use the terms all willy-nilly like because i understand that would be ignorant and simply unneccesary and vulgar, but, if it is what it is, idk man i feel freedom of speech should come first, gotta do me. To quote a writer from the economist " To see how we cursed is to see how we lived, warts and all. "(Chances are he stole that from someone but i couldnt find who) There will always be a word to describe the person, it gets muted, we invent a new one, its not the terms that make us racist, its the ideals.

 

Thizz, I understand where you're coming from with that occurrence. Though, in the chat logs themselves show you actually recently just used the derogatory term such as "Nigger" which obviously we will not ignore for any reason. I'll adjust your mute/gag down to half the time, as looking at your chat logs I don't see really anything else wrong. Please keep in mind though if there is a problem to report or throw an admin a message and not take it in your own hands. If you tend to take it in your own hands it just makes the situation in a worse case scenario and also in the end just hurts yourself. Trust me, unlike most I know how the SK drama scene is!

 

To that i say, if you feel it was needed to begin with, keep the full mute time. Why? This sums up most of it.
