Do you think we can put a reloading option into the zm server? Like some people can choose to reload and some people can stay unlimited ammo. Even though people think it wouldnt be fair, It will be, since we are already used to killing humans through unlimited ammo. It will just make it easier for some people.

If we add the reload feature, it changes the balance of the game in favor of the zombies. Instead we could adjust the knock back to make it more difficult to defend on advancing zombies. Really we are just trying not to favor one team over the other and simple is better. Remember we have already removed all the heavy props that can be spawned after we added lasers. One example would be when someone is in a tube. All the zombie would have to do is wait for the guy to run though his ammo and jump in and kill him while he was reloading . It would change the game if we added reload so i'm not sure its a good alternative and of course we would have complaints.

The problem with the unlimited ammo though, is that if you do infact get somone in a tube they could defend the tube without any effort at all, by themselves. It's extremely frustrating to be a zombie trying to get a guy in a tube when all he his doing is spraying a para or a p90 down range

We can take a look at making it more difficult to defend.

I agree, people in tubes have it way too easy. They can just hold down the fire button for the entire round and be guaranteed a victory. Especially on the beaver map, where the tubes are really really long.

Its a shame one couldn't just remove all tubes from a given map.. Oh well
