I'm trying to host a server and I can't seem to get it to work properly it's not letting me install the Counter-Strike: Source (SRCDS) file with the code for the cmd

anyone ever done this before and can walk me through it. any help would be appreciated. I've looked on other walk through websites and they do not seem to work.

Hosting a server on your computer?

Are you just wanting to play with your friends at your house? Or are you wanting them to connect through the internet?

Are those mods for CS:S? It's a bit difficult to host a server and play on the same computer. Takes alot of experience to set up with forwarding ports, etc, etc. You are going to need a lot of bandwidth and a large upload/download speed too.
