    my hl2.exe crashed and was wondering if anyone knows the steps of how to uninstall steam and reinstall it?

    Does it crash everytime you launch a source-engine game?
    You might want to look at the game cache.
    Go into Steam Library > Right Click CSS or TF2 depending on what game makes you crash > Properties > Local Files > Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache
    If this problem still occurs, then I have no idea what could it be other than a bug in a map/mod, which is quite possible too.

    Go steam library find the game you want to delete, right click, properties, click on Local Files, delete local game content, re-install the game. Another way to delete..locate the game folder(I'm assuming your talking about tf2?) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2 delete it.

    well i having issues still. i verified the game cache i uninstalled counter strike source and reinstalled it and the same thing happens. everytime i got to get on a server it freezes my whole computer locks it up solid? anybody have anything on what it might be?
