Silver, do you really have to post this kind of garbage in here. I mean really, it is SOOOOOO annoying. Uhhhg. I just can't stomach this kind of psychohappy drool.... and furthermore.... ahhh, I don't like it. Did I mention it is useless?

Please note the smiley-wink in my message. For those whom the satire was not obvious, I hereby declare my response was supposed to be humorous. The idea was that the thread was dedicated to those who complain... so I thought I would employ a bit of sarcasm and make a huge fuss, err complaint if you will. It was just meant to tease in a friendly way. I am sorry that my sense of humor was not interpreted the way I intended.

PS: If you don't mind, change your thumbs down rating for my post. I would never seriously talk to someone like that who is trying to be helpful, even if I did think it was a bunch of crap. By the way, I actually think it sounds like a good thing to try.

I really am sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought the irony was OBVIOUS. But now, after I have made it crystal clear I was only kidding, and understanding there was nothing but good intentions, why do you come off like you're still angry with me?

 

Instead of continuing to defend yourself on the situation why don't you give a sincere apology and just let this all die down? It isn't helping anyone to continue this.

 

Okay... everyone! Please help me out here so that I can better understand something I need to understand about myself.

Now, I've most definitely heard from folks who thought I was serious, and did not like my posting in the least. I sure do get that now.

But, what I would really like to know is, was there anyone who actually got it and understood the ironic humor?

If so, I would love for you to let me know. If for some reason you are bashful about saying so here, then pop me a PM. My goal is to better learn if my sense of humor is just so far out of whack that I should get really cautious about attempting humor any more.

I did sincerely apologize, for the misunderstanding. I'm sorry it resulted in hurt feelings.
If you want me to apologize for being mean, make me bleed, want me to feel bad about myself or something, then that isn't going to happen. I was never trying to be mean to anyone. I said so. I meant it. And I don't need any more bullshit.

 

Just giving some advice. Not much anyone can do to help you if you can't stop attempting to defend yourself

 

I actually found Piggy's comment to be amusing, I found no way of how this was attacking Apple and that he was simply laying some thick sarcasm on. From living my very sarcastic life and being in a work environment of nothing but sarcastic assholes that like to do but crack jokes, I chuckled. Things should not be taken so seriously. The picture is true for some yes, but joking really gets some people through the day.

 

I got the irony and humor in it, but the thing you have to remember here is, it is HARD to really put those kinds of things into words. People read things differently, so what you see as funny could be seen by someone else as extremely disrespectful and mean (kind of like this whole situation here eh?) Yes, you have apologized for what you said, but coming in over and over like you are and keeping this whole thing going isn't helping ANYTHING. So just stop posting in this topic. Honestly, I would suggest the topic just be locked (hint hint Gotcha/Woody) and everybody move on with their lives..

 

I also noticed the "wink" myself but I don't know Piggy enough to know whether he meant it or not. Yes it was inappropriate whether it was a joke or not but he didn't do it with the intention of trying to actually piss someone off or whateves. He's already said sorry and I think that justified him enough.

After truly feeling bad that I hurt Apple's feelings and alarmed Gotcha and others, it helps me a little to know that it at least made someone smile. That was all I wanted to happen from the git-go.

 

Yeah, it's good to remember that a reading/writing medium can make it hard to properly interpret feelings in communications, even with the use of emoticons.

What purpose would it serve to stop communication here? I understand if you aren't interested, but then you can just move on to other threads you do find more interesting. I said I am interested to learn who may have gotten the humor. Why do you care so much if I or anyone else posts in this thread?

A thread will die out on it's own if there is no interest in it.
