Detailed Explanation with Screenshots/Demos::

This person would do nothing as a zombie, he also put props into a crouch area 2 rounds in a row!! I have a demo how ever I do not know how to upload the dem. file here and or convert it from dem. to AVI so I can post it, so if need be let me know and I can upload the dem. and or email it so it can be looked over.​

crap i'll review this tomorrow as soon as i get home from work i completely forgot about it today sorry about that i've been a little busy.

 

for the record i havent really had any problems from him other than this. I gave him a verbal warning saying "If i see you do it again or if anyone reports a similar event, i will ban you." Id suggest letting him off with a warning this time and if it happens again we can take action

 

I took the liberty of reviewing the demo; While it's true he was inactive as a zombie, and an active human as soon as the round started, this only happens once in the demo. (And riptide has already spoken to him about this)

As for the claim of blocking crouch spots, he's innocent. You can see in the demo that he goes out of his way to make sure the props he placed didn't interfere with the entrance.

 

He was still propping inside of a crouch area, I my self have been told more then many a time not to put props into a crouch area at all!!!

So regardless if he was trying to make it so the zombie could come in still, it is a crouch area and the MOTD says not to cade crouch/crawl spots, its rule number 1, the rule does not say its ok to prop a crouch spot as long as u leave room for them still?? I believe this rule is in place because it is all ready hard enough for zombies to get inside of a crawl space without props being in a crouch spot, is it not?

If an exceptions is made here because he was trying not to block it all the way who is to stop others from doing the same? How is it right in any way that I am told not to put props into crouch area's yet this guy can gets away with it not just once but 2 rounds in a row because they are backed up a little from the all ready hard to get into spot its ok!

 

For the record this is not the first time he has done this I have a demo of him doing this about 6 days ago also and being told by Tone not to do this again. I would say 3 days before this post was made or so. Here is the demo http://www.filedropper.com/fight_1 this demo was givin to gotch and not posted here until now because I felt that he was some what trying not to block it all the way and I know he had past prblem/issues. But after I watched the demo also I felt the need to say something because he has been told not once but 2-4 times in the last week not to do this as well as cadding the room that is a half door on this map. I can see blurry he is trying not to block it all the way, how ever I am going to have to agree with this phone guy, he will only break rules when no admins are on or admins who do not know him that well are on. He has 3 prior ban's one of them was for a full week for breaking the rules, so he knows the rules well enough to know better then to do this yet again.

Letting someone get away with breaking a rule because they did something a little different then the way it is worded in the MOTD is still breaking a rule, and to justify what he is doing because he found a loop hole in a gray area of how the rule is worded is still wrong. So again I would have to agree with phone on this he is breaking the MOTD and I feel action is needed.

 

That's just my input, I don't represent the administration. The way I see it, if the props can't possibly interact with zombies while they're moving through said crouch spot, then they're not really a valid factor.

 

Well I have reviewed the demo, but if Gotcha has had reviewed a case against the person before. I rather see Gotcha come in and give his input and handle this. @Gotcha I'll let you handle this one if that is okay.

 

Being afk is not against the rules and no one is forced to hunt cts. Having props not interfering with a crouch spot would not be against the rules. That said he should not be spawning props in that room as it limits the ability of the zombie to enter which was the reason he did it to begin with. The room is already difficult to get in with someone constantly shooting out the small slide door. I would warn the guy but would not ban unless he continued to do this.
