Dear VigalanteGamers Staff,
I was on Team Fortress 2 earlier today, and I was unable to connect to your server as it said I was banned. I have no idea why this happen as I've never done anything that I thought to be wrong, and upon checking my ban reason it said "Duplicate Account.". I asked my son to try and join, and he was also recieving the same error which is rather pecuiliar. Any reason behind this? I didn't do anything wrong, and I'd like to get my ban appealed.

Sorry, but that is highly an unlikely story. Since whom ever was banned from our server using a cheat. Also the fact the one account was vacced 1 day ago.

To be honest, I don't even know what that account is. Again, I just tried to login and for whatever reason, I'm banned for the reason "Duplicate Account". This really doesn't make much sense to me because I've only ever made one account on Steam, and that is my main account which can be found here: http://www.steamcommunity.com/id/onionade . I don't know what cheating has to do with my account being banned, but I'd never cheat in Team Fortress 2 as I'd rather not lose my entire inventory, and get banned from CSS and the Hidden.

So how do we handle the situation?

 

I'll admit, I did say I was younger than I actually was, and that was a stupid mistake on my end. Hopefully this doesn't relate to the Ban Appeal.

 

Also may I add that I had several hours on record, and since now have not received any consequences for doing anything wrong on your servers as I haven't done anything wrong. I have spoken to my son whom claims he didn't have anything to do with it, however I will take a look at his computer later this afternoon.

 

I find all of this way to fishy, and too many stories are being thrown around. Like Woody said there was no mistake and nothing adds up, your ban will NOT be reversed!

 

Sorry, that's a ludicrous amount to pay just to get my account unbanned from your servers. Not to mention I don't believe I did anything wrong in the first place as I've played on your servers for so long and have not received one warning or ban besides this one.

Fair enough, I'd rather stay banned than pay $200 just to play on one TF2 server.
