Good news, she said that the doctors might let her come home today... There was a very bad infection on her arm and they couldnt stop the spreading untill they put here on the strongest antibiotic there is and lots of it. Thank you for all of the wishes.

 

I'm just going to take a guess, but I can pretty say I am almost positive you will say it is cellulitis/myositis

My father had it in his leg around 10 years ago when the disease just arrived. Within 3 days it spread from a 3 inch diameter to 3 feet almost covered his whole leg. They where about to take him for emergency clean up which is to remove all the bad and infected muscle and tissue and by that time they said they mys well amputate his whole leg. Right after while they where getting ready for surgery, another doctor came in and said I think I might know what it is and if it's what I think it is, you need to be on the strongest antibiotic we have. He said I want to try that out and see if it starts eating away at the spread. They put him on it through IV and within 2 hours it was back down to like 8 inches. He was able to come home the next day!

After all that being said and done they said once you get this disease, you're always prone to get it again so you got to be careful with any scratch,cuts, or other open soars. Glad to hear she is doing well RipLamb!

 

That is very similer to what happend to her, just freaked us out becouse we did not know what it was!!

 

Yeah, a lot of people don't know about it to be honest. It hurts so bad though especially when it finally hits the muscle and joints.
