An idea to motivate more people to join the forums

So over the last 2 months the zombie mod has seen a nice rise in player numbers, even more so in people trying to be in the top spot to get the skin you win at the end of the month.

I was thinking that maybe we should add some skins into the shop on the forums that can be purchased by forum members only. Maybe make the price 10-20$ per skin or maybe make them monthly rentals like 2$ per month for them who want to just try out the skins. This will also helps the community grow stronger, and help to keep more people active on the forums.

I also think it would be a great idea to give the higher up admins a skin they can turn on when someone is break the rules, as a kinda first step deterrent to scare people into fallowing the rules. Sometimes just having the presence of an admin is enough to stop someone from miss behaving.

I would like to get other peoples thoughts on this idea, so feel free to post opinions.

 

Well, the idea of skins just for forum users I don't think is possible to do. We could add new vip skins though.

I think thats a great idea! Motivating more people to be more active is a great way to continue to boost the servers numbers. Im not a huge fan of the renting skins idea but I like where you are going with this idea. I think that more admins would be the most vital thing at the moment we need more active admins who spend alot of time in game. I cant tell you how many times ive had to talk to people about breaking rules in the server to no avail, and I 90% sure that that is the biggest reason people stop playing. they get burnd out on trolls who come on day after day and mic spam and shoot props and barricades you know?

 

Making them VIP is also a great idea, I did not even think about that. I just want to try and get people more involved on both the forums, and in game. I enjoy this group vary much, and want to see us grow to be the biggest and best out there!!
