This may be a stupid question. In the MarioKart server, how are points sometimes lost? To provide an example, with the following link open, you can see red arrows next to some of the usernames. You can tell this means they lost points by hovering over the arrow. http://vigilantegamers.gameme.com/players/tf3

My guess is that points are deducted due to prolonged inactivity to the server. This is very possible, but I swear I have seen myself gain ~ -2 points for killing an enemy in the server. It's 1:23 AM and I am very tired so excuse my failed attempts at explaining what I am trying to ask. If any of you sleuths out there can translate my words into readable text, then find the solution to my problem, I will be very happy for about less than a minute.

    Thanks!

    Inventory:

Each time you kill somebody, you gain points based on their level in gameMe. If they kill you, they gain points based on your level in gameMe and you lose those points.

Thus, if you kill somebody and gain 25 points, but they kill you three times and only get 6, you still have a net gain of 19 points. GameMe positions are determined by how many points you have, so you raise and lower in rankings based on points, not kills.
