Any payday 2 players?

New to payday 2, and being that TF2 got me conditioned for an FPS like this I wanted to try it with real people.

 

I was gonna snag it last time I saw it on sale, but man I looked at the 598734981 DLC's they have and I'm just too cheap of a bastard to spend an extra 150$ on a game after I already bought the game

Really wish dev's would stop doing that shit, if they wanna add something to a game then great, but to add a ton of small things and then charge 5$ each for it is just silly.

 

Marketing Scam is all it is.

If they want to do such things then they need to do it like a seasonal pass which some games are starting to do like fallout 4. $60.00 and you get all the downloads that they come out with which is not to bad.

 

Ye, I havent bought any of the DLC by itself, I just got a pack plus the game during summer sales for like $3 for the game and a little dlc, but I agree it is riddled with DLC, but that doesnt make it unplayable, unlike other games where you need DLC to enjoy it *COUGH* EA BATTLEFRONT *COUGH*

 

EA does that which a ton of there games. Most all battlefield in general to enjoy them you need to get all the content.

 

Yep, I miss the good old days when you bought a game for 40-60$, and *Gasp* you actually got the full game. Then if the dev's wanted to add on to it, they just made expansions, and usually the expansion was a whole game in and of itself, instead of some of the bullshit they add now in DLC's, where you get a new skin, or some nonsense like that.

 

Yeah, sadly times have changed. I mean look at prices of computers and gaming equipment compared to years ago.

 

So we can all agree then that the gaming industry is in the shitter? Literally the only game company I can think of that cares about its customers right now is valve
