Blue Screen CS:GO

When ever I play CS:GO, I can play for a bit and the my comp blue screens. I have the display settings set to the lowest settings, and have a fresh install of windows going. My pc specs are AMD FX-6300 4.10GHz, 8gb ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti, WIN 7 Ultimate. I'm pretty sure I have asked this before...? But anywasy, i'm thinking its time to get a new video card, or my pc is overheating ?

 

Could be a numerous amount of things. I would say check the overheating, could be your vid card drivers, or even a ram stick is bad.

I had a blue screen of death of a number of computers.

First one was actually windows installs a driver that supports nvidia drivers and to which when you download the updated nvidia driver from nvidia site, then the computer was recognizing 2 drivers at once and was blue screening. I downloaded Driver Cleaner Pro and ran it in safe mode and deleted the nvidia geforce drivers, restart computer in safe mode with network and download a fresh set of nvidia drivers and reinstall. Restart regularly and test it out.

2nd time was a bad ram stick and it took me 2 days to realize it. I began testing every situation and finally decided to take out all my ram and enter one at a time and see if it would blue screen. Finally found out one of them was obviously bad and replaced it and never had an issue since.

3rd I seen my friend ran Speed Fan to which found out his computer was overheating and well, he put in 2 more fans and it worked fine after.
