Any of you on east coast wake up surprised with the amount of snow we got? The news kept saying up to 18 inches and I didn't believe them till I woke up this morning and seen around 16 inches on the ground and its still snowing. I hate this shit, I want to move!

 

lol I went to Colorado 2 weeks ago to snowboard and it snowed 23" the first two days we were there. I love snow cause I never get to see it usually

Yeah so far we are at like 20 inches i would say. By the end of tomorrow morning i'd say we are probably going to hit at least 24 inches. We always get snow every year, but it's rare that we get blizzards like this. The largest blizzard we ever had was back in 93. I was only like 9 years old i remember we lived out on a friends farm renting and we couldn't even get our front door open. It took them 2 days to dig there way to the car. The state was shut down, no one was allowed on the road at all unless you had a plow truck with chains. Tomorrow i'll have to take pics when it's done.

 

I'm in Texas and snow would be heaven for us.

 

People that don't get snow think it would be lovely. Sure an inch or two would be fine. Once you get around a foot a year it gets tiring fast. Makes to much of a fucking mess and a hassle.

 

Yeah I have a friend who lives in Boston he said its a pain in the ass to clear the driveway.

My dad told me that when he grew up in a small Northern town, there was no such thing as a "snow day". I would imagine so because it happens constantly, or so I've been told. Spent my whole life in Texas as well.

 

Throughout my entire school career from 1st grade through college, I had maybe 3 days of school cancelled due to snow

 

i was in green bay wis from 2006-2013 and i hate driving around when it snows...especially when there's black ice lol

 

it has snowed 3 times in my city since 1930 lol. the most ever was 1999, 6 inches closed every store in town
