Has anyone purchased this bundle yet ? Is it a scam or not ? I would not mind buying it since you get 8 games for 5.00 bucks or how does this work ? Someone please explain

It's not a scam. It's actually a really nice bundle and it's for charity. They usually do a few of them each year. This one is for origin, not steam.

I actually just bought this last night. It is not a scam. I bought the bundle with 4 other Indie games and if i payed above the average price for what other's were paying, I could get Amnesia: The Dark Decent. And i payed $5.75 and i now own those games. I repeat, this is not a scam, it is real. If you do not believe me send me a message on steam and ill load up a game that i have purchased from it.

I bought these as well and I was thinking to myself that holy crap EA is finally giving back. But no, it is an attempt to get more players on Origin which EA owns, that's why they did this and tried to cover it up as charity. Dirty Fuckers. This is why I will always hate EA.

Actually you can get most of the games on steam when you buy the bundle. Now if you get Battlefield 3 and Sims 3 which are only available on Origin.

Anybody that recently downloaded and installed Origin there pc should read this. Shortly after installing origin on my computer seemed slow and unresponsive along with other problems. Later on my antivirus found a root kit on my pc. Sounds kinda like the same problems these guys are having on the EA forums. Hmmmm I wonder where it came from.

Main reason I didn't buy that humble bundle. Anything with EA/Origin is crap.

I'm still fighting with it. I not 100% sure where the rootkit came from. but I uninstalled origin, cleaned up the mess. Today I installed it again. This time with Origin just running in the background was eating 25% of my cpu and 25% of my ram. When I closed the program, the cpu settled back to idle, but I never recovered the ram back. The program totally acts like a virus. So again I spent the night cleaning up the mess again. I dunno what to say.
