I know we have quite a few people from Pennsylvania. Was wondering how many inches you all got last night and today. I woke up for work this morning and when I made coffee and decided to let my dog out and see how much we got I quickly called work and called off lol

We ended up with 8 inches. It's not really that much but was not ready for it. Especially having a half mile driveway to clear before going to work. Which took 4 hours with a stage 4 snowblower.

To be honest that isn't that much for around here. I mean it it for as late in the season as it is though. Which is what is the scary part because back in 96 we gotten 32 inches, it snowed for 3 days straight without stopping once. They had to call a state emergency for several days no one was allowed on the roads except state drivers. But it all happened when we didn't get snow till the end of feb. Well that is what seems to be happening now. We didn't get any snow till just last night so i'm hoping it was just a coincidence and we aren't going to get a north eastern blizzard.

The start of this winter the first of a 3 day blizzard gave us over 12 inches on day one. Thing is day on (where we had 12+ inches) school wasn't canceled

Now it hasn't been snowing a Lot since then, however it has been nice and cold

Yeah even with the 8 inches school wasn't canceled here for any of the kids either, just a 2 hour delay. It's rare that school ever gets canceled here unless there is a state emergency.

see the day of 12 inches, the school didn't think of a delay, so school started ON TIME...the next day they called school off so workers could remove snow from all main roads, because the snow wasn't stoping

normally snow removal here goes (Emergency routs, schools, schools, residential)

but they canceled school for 2 days so they wouldn't have to worry about the schools, and just try to get to everyone else first...and so they have a few thousand less cars to deal with on the roads, since everyone is at home

Apparently, this weekend is suppose to be in the low 50's, it's like wtf. It was literally just 12 degrees outside with 8 inches of snow, now jumps to the 50's...
