@Gavlan called me to Harvest to check out this player. The player was spamming chat with a website link and Gav wanted me to check to see if the player was using any hacks. The chat-spam behavior was similar to that of LMAOBox users. I arrived to the server in disguise and starting recording a demo to look for any signs of hacks. The player stopped the spam and left soon after I did so. I had not seen any signs of hacking, and a background check afterward showed no prior bans for hacking. A close look at the chat logs showed that the spam wasn't precise enough to be scripted, so there is no further reason to suspect hacking. The chat-bind spam, however, is a problem.​

 

I will throw a gag on the person once I get home from work etc later tonight. Yeah highly doubt it's anything to do with cheats. As GetRekt site I had checked out and seems to be nothing but a regular gamers forum for mmo games.

 

I have thrown a 1 day gag on the player for now. If they decide to return and do this again then we will issue the perm gag. Thanks Khan!
