Detailed Explanation with Screenshots/Demos::

A player from Lazytown added me and called me to help deal with a player who was spamming chat and trolling. Chat logs here. Player has a very extensive background of trolling and insulting others, often under different names. After looking at his chat logs and warning him, I threw a 30 min gag on him. When he continued to harass others through the medium of his username, I gave him a quick 10 min ban.

Normally I would simply ask for a lengthened gag, but after looking at his priors, I see no reason why he should be allowed to play on our servers anymore.​

 

Well, we try to not ban for these kind of reasons unless it gets out of hand which means basically; If they tend to start switching there names to troll and avoid the mute/gag. I will go ahead and perm gag/mute him for his current behavior. If then he returns and does as said above, go ahead and throw a ban on him.

Make sure in the future Khan if they are trolling excessively to just gag temp as you done so, but further more just perm them. Then follow the other steps I have provided. We try to make the ban a last resort.

 

Of course. I only slapped the short ban on him when he did start changing his username to avoid the gag and continue harassing others.

 

Okay, was just making sure. I didn't realize he was switching his name constantly as it wasn't showing up inside gameme. Sorry about that then!

 

To clarify, he only changed his name once after the gag. When I saw he was continuing to harass that way to avoid the gag, I didn't give him a chance to change it more than once. I gave him the 10-min ban before the rename timer was even up.
