Saying GG(good game)

saying gg is like handshake on games,but what does it mean to you guys?Does it come off as a jerk thing to do or do players really mean well and other players are overreacting?

 

I mean, I don't say it. If I feel that we had a really great match, I'll type out "great game guys", but saying it every time seems to cheapen it.

 

I say it every time as a courtesy but if it's particularly good I'll mention something more at the end of the game, like Ginga was talking about. I'm more about recognizing people during the game as much as possible, you know, "Nice shot" or "SICK 360 TOMAHAWK ACROSS THE MAP BRO"

 

What if its "GG Bruh" on console? Like if you lose a match and someone the opposite team sends the message?

 

I say gg when i'm about to leave the server. GG fam.

 

If both teams played well and it was a hard fought game, even if I lose, I'll type it out. If it wasn't really that great of a game I don't say it

 

When you play CS:GO saying GG goes to a whole new level.

 

Depends what game I am playing and what map, server etc...

If I am playing SK I usually never say it. If i'm on Gun game I say it before every map switch out of respect to the one that won. If it's on TF2 I say nothing as to me that game is just like any other ordinary pub. I never played competitive in TF2.
