Hello everyone i am SourD im a regular css playe i have over 1k hours since 2006 and im here to make some suggestions to your zm server and hopefully get it populated. i understand that css is a dying game and that is why with my hope and vgamers dedication to the game that we can climb back on top and enjoy it one last time till css is truely dead, with that being said lets move on.

1st up on my list of suggestion is the bots.. i feel that the use of botz in the zm is a bit too much, not to say the bots are bad! but i feel as though there are too many of them. my reason to back this claim is when you see the sever in the list and it says 15 pepole well you join and theres really only two pepole.. its a bit of false advertising if you ask me and thats one reson i do not play there as often and i feel as though the community of css may or may not agree with me on that. the bots dont have any real function for gameplay there just there to attract players.

secondly on my list is the Rules list or motd. either those are the server rules or they are not the server rules i come on and i read them / no mic spam/ no prop break/ no crouch props etc,. however why are there admins coming on and "making" rules out of nowhere? oh you cant be there thats a banned spot, oh the secret room is against the rules you cant be there, and many others the list could go on. i feel that this really weakens the community. No one likes rules to start with so over doing it with guide lines and restrictions is stupid. Motd needs to state the rules and all the rules and those are the rules. That is what an motd is for if someone is obviously breaking them an approiate unishment is dished by an admin and all is well in life, bt when an admin can simply "make" a rule then the balance is shifted its no longer fair.. "oh i cant kill him thats a banned spot !forceztele" you get the point.

Thankyou for reading my suggestions i know i am 100% new here im actually apart of GFL im an admin on there surf rpg dm css server if you guys want to know im a stand up guy i actually care about css as a whole i really want a good zm server [remeber most zm servers are based outside of the us so ping is critical] you guys have a nice box and a nice server i just feel there are a few tweaks we can work on overtime i like this server its a peice of my childhood im now 18. Please give me a chance im not here for membership or adminship or any of that im here to help you guys better your zombie server thankyou have a nice day and please give me some feedback

We actually have adjusted the rules for our zm server. It's very hard to list all the rules for zm as there is quite an amount and the reason being is due to the fact we make the rules from people actually coming to us asking us too so the public is what makes our rules for the zm server. Our admins are only doing as there told to do. Also the MOTD is not meant for "a list of rules" so to speak, so that is not what an motd even is. MOTD is "Message of The Day" which was intentionally for throwing out server wide messages to your player base. We do appreciate you coming to the forums and letting us know your opinions.

We have taken a lot of the rules and guidelines out to make it less restricted and more into what it's meant to be as in having fun! I'm sure our admins or specific server managers can have more of a guidance on what exactly are the rules better then I can. So i'm sure they will respond to this, thanks again!

We can adjust the bot amount, but they don't effect the display player account. If you see 15 people in the server, but there's a bunch of bots, this is because the majority of those players are in spectate. What do you think would be a acceptable bot count?

Admins should never be making up rules. Most all spots are legal unless stated in the MOTD (off the map spots, etc). If you have an issue take a screenshot of the spot and post it on our forums so we can have a discussion about it. I'm not sure that last time you played, but we recently updated our MOTD to be more lax.

Thanks for your feedback we appreciate it!
