(Website) Accounts...

NOTE: Not really a suggestion, just seems like the most logical place to post this.

I have recently noticed something about VGamers. When I go thru the Ban Appeal discussion and look on some people's appeals their account is new, and no actual activity is coming from them. People seem to just make accounts to appeal their ban or become admin. This isn't really an issue, however it is disappointing to see so much accounts, and little of them are actually made to be a part of the community/stay active. Maybe there should be a function, where people who don't have an account can still appeal (somehow)?

 

Normally sourcebans would have a function akin to that, but since we're running with forum appeals, that's disabled. I think in the interest of mitigating spam, among other things, forum accounts should still be made for appeals.

However, if there isn't one in place already, maybe an inactive account pruner would be.. prudent.
