KeyBoard is a peice of crap!

Well Just read the title.. The Razer Deathstalker Ultimate sucks! The screen on the side does not work very well and the drivers are horrible. So i request some new keyboard recommendations! I Hate Razer now, and I am switching all my stuff!

The Razer Deathstalker Ultimate I'm not familiar with but I and many others use the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical. If you get the one with clicks it can be loud but I like the click. Looking back though the stealth might have been better (as I keep my mic on some times due to games I'm playing). If my work keyboard dies, I might bring the one I'm using in and get the stealth one.

 

I had bad experiences with a razer keyboard too. It was defective out of the box, had a hard time trying to find customer support, and once I did they had me messing around with drivers. But that did not fix the problem, then I did a Research online, and found out that they had been making that keyboard for two years with the same problem, and claimed it was only early serial numbers that where the problem. So I just caught them lying. Then they wanted me to pay to send the thing back to them. Fuck off, there the fucking liers that fucked up. Razer is pure fucking garbage and should emerge with EA so that there perfect. Then your hardware and software can be fucked together.

 

lol, I had bought the carcharias headphones or whatever and after a month of having them the headphones actually fell apart so I called them and it took them about 3 months to send me new replacements and I had the replacements for around 2 months and then they stopped working on the right side. I called them again and they said they would not replace them a third time. I then bought the deathstalker and owned it for around a week before I gave it away to a friend due to it being so cheesy. I have switched to Steelseries for my mouse and keyboard and for headset i'm thinking of going with the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO's.

 

What is even more frustrating, I replaced it with a Logitech 510s, had it a week, spilt one drop of coffee in it, and was fucked too. now im just using a generic keyboard from 10 years ago with a ps2 port, this thing wont die. also killed a Logitech proteus core in the same year it was new tooo, right button cracked and fell off. Im starting to think all this so called gaming hardware is just gimmicky junk.

 

I actually have to agree with that the old keyboards and mice are very hard to ruin. I myself spilled coffee on my keyboard a week ago I think I actually announced it in chat and inside a thread. I am currently using a generic Dell keyboard that is like 10 years old. I will say though the mechanical keyboards are VERY tough hence the new design. Most are spill resistant as well now.

 

I wish, I could find an old IBM mechanical keyboard, from what I hear, they where the best keyboards ever made.

I was just checking them out too, I was hoping to find one at garage sale, hoping they don't realize what it is.

 

Well I decided to go ahead and get the Logitech G19 a bit later model but looks good! Thank you for all the suggestions.

 

Im just saying, use madcats, or asus. Qualtiy stuff, doesn't break easy and actually works.
Im using a Madcatz S.T.R.I.K.E.R 7 keybaord its one of the best keyboards i've actually used.
That being said you would actually need to know how to install the drivers and software for the smart screen.
also i have and TRITTION headsett which i've lost to the ground about 1000 times no cracks not even dents or scratches.
