I learned long ago they are for the most part just regular people. I used to have a bunch of the Chicago Bears football team members come to the convenience store I worked at. It was one time, me and a fellow worker ran into them at the local theater. Everyone was like "OMG", and we were like "Hi Keith", and it was like any other friend you run into. The part though that stood out to me that showed how they are normal people, was when the 10 or so other guys, went out to the parking lot, and hid from Keith as he talked to us, just like me and my friends would have done to someone.

I'd suggest to take your time no need to rush up to the table to meet them. Remember to breath, and try to look them in the eye, and shake hands with a strong grip, this should help you too.

    OVERALL, HAVE FUN!

I agree with Homer's advice. The "Duck Dynasty" crew is from my town, and before they got really big they were just another family. Even after they became famous, they still came through the chick-fil-a I worked at regularly. So yeah, famous people are still just people! Good luck!

I interpret from your post that you are as anxious about being around all the people at the concert itself as you are about meeting the group. Would this be accurate? Do you have plans to go with one or more friends, or will you be going alone?

If you're relating towards what I am guessing is Social Anxiety then I can talk to you privately on steam if you want. I was diagnosed with social anxiety 4 years ago, and I've been dealing with it since and I've been told i'm getting better. There for the longest time I couldn't even go to Walmart without getting anxiety and when it got real bad I would pass out. So if you need pointers on that sort of thing just throw me a message on steam and we can talk about it.

I've been diagnosed with generalized anxiety as well as panic disorder and this does sound quite a bit like that. I had similar experiences to Drac... so I would go to Target everyday just to walk around and see if I could overcome the feelings of needing to faint. What's worked best for me is having a friend to go with me that understood my situation and who I trusted. I also focused a lot on breathing techniques and would continuously tell my self that I would be okay (which sounds silly but it works!).

That is a cure, however I don't recommend it lol. Smoking weed only hides things and once you quit smoking it will hit you like a block wall :p

    Not necessarily.

Marijuana actually has a lot of great medical benefits. In some cases it's even cured individuals of cancer.

Oh I know it has benefits towards certain things and actually they found it can prevent diabetes and as well as lower your cholesterol. However, in anxiety and depression cases it is highly suggested not to look towards weed and especially alcohol cause it just hides it for the time being obviously and will catch up with you sooner or later. :)

    Alcohol yes, marijuana no.

There's multiple studies that have shown marijuana to actually help anxiety. It's not a depressant like alcohol.

Woody you know youre pretty great. I contemplated that one, but im not sure i have the funds to be able to do that at the moment

I will toss you a message on steam thank you
Thank you so much for this advice i think the looking into their eyes is a good plan i hadnt even considered due to me thnking they arent normal people, but recently ive been like "but what are theythen?"
Khan; yea im nervous about the large number of people that are going to be there but less so because we are all like a family, and i was almost going alone but i have convinced my friend to come along, and luckily he also has a backstage pass
