New Video Card........

    So I am looking to get a new video card, here are my current specs....

    AMD FX(tm) 6300 Six cores 3.50Ghz
    24 GB Ram
    Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti

    This video card has a hard time handling games like GTA and ARK.

    I am looking to spend $400 to $500 on a new card, but I am also looking for the most bang for my buck. I don't want to have to upgrade this card for a while.... I have been looking at these cards here.

    My brother tells me, that the stream processors are the most important part of it, the more the better.

    If you guys could help me out and point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

    i use evga. I havent had any problems with them plus they have a standard 3 yr warranty on their stuff

    Those R9 3XX series are pretty big so make sure you've got room if that's the way you go

    I have that exact card lol. I wouldn't recommend it. It runs super hot and when playing a graphic intensive game the fans get really loud. The card does dissipate it's heat fairly well, but it still gets hot. Make sure if you do get that card you make sure you have enough room it's pretty large. Also make sure that you have some decent fans to move all the heat out of your case that the card is generating.

    Just got it last night, but I am already seeing a huge difference between old and new cards, Actually can play gta 5 full settings, haven't messed with ark too much, dont think i can play it on full settings.... We will see!

    Let me ask you this, does your usb 3.0 on your case work? Because mine doesn't and I dont know why.... lol

    Seems like it goes in and out for me. I tried updating drivers etc. multiple times and still don't know what is going on with it.
