For PC I use everything wired. I can't stand the little delay in wireless.

Yeah definitely wired. Wireless is a pain and always seems to have a delay.

I use wireless for my headset. I watch movies in my bed sometimes, and I like the "surround-ness" of headphones

That actually sounds like an awesome idea. I watch a ton of shows at night and lay in bed with just regular surround sound hooked up. I have to keep it very low at night due to waking people up. I might give this a try but i'm just not sure how i could go about doing it through my surround sound system.

Pretty much the same reason I do it haha. I just change the default device to my headset, and unplug the USB dongle if I want to use the TV output. But if you're not watching from your computer, idk how you would send it to a headset straight from the TV lol

Well I have an actual surround sound, but there is no usb port on the system. Only Component out and Radio out :/

ahhh okay that makes sense! i definitely wanted wireless for everything just because theres less wire mess and you dont get that slight resistance on the mouse or weight on the headset but you guys have a very good point about the delay, which i absolutely HATE. And ive had enough disconnections with my damn wireless mouse. Hopefully i can upgrade headset and mouse soon

I have a wireless mouse and don't have issues unless it's on low battery (which a light warns me of). The wire always hinders my movement speed, making it slowed and jerky, especially rotational, but the drag of the cord also effects my side to side.

My main mouse issues is the rubber on the sides is now being held on with kneaded eraser and you can't bind anything to middle mouse because microsoft (the maker of this mouse) has made it permanently bring of the list of current windows. :p

ahh damn @END thats why i wanted wireless before because of the free movement but i haaaate the delay and hate having to change/recharge the batteries lol. This cheapo mouse i have (blackweb) is horrid. brand new batteries and still gives me problems... even with the reciever literally right in front of it with a USB extension :hilarious:
