Make orange great again

I've been hearing alot about the TF2 orange server, basically being the Southside Detroit of the VG TF2 community. I've gone through the forums and haven't found too much, so is anyone willing to share what they think some problems are with the server? Also, any community managers or fellow administrators have any advice on how someone could go about fixing it? I genuinely do care about the server and the people that come to it, even going as far as to have gotten permission to begin creating holiday themed versions of the map, as I have come to realize that orange is in the early stages of dying, and I may just be oblivious, but I am not sure why.

 

It seems fine to me I play on there every now and then still, and it's populated every time I join. Not just random people either, but regulars who have been around a while. I still have lots of fun when I join! But if anyone thinks differently definitely let us know!

 

It isn't nearly as populated as it once was but it still is doing pretty strong. I noticed it usually does the best from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm est. I went in for a few days here and there it around that time it always had people playing.

 

I honestly don't play on Orange often (I join it quite rarely actually) but I must say that no obvious problems stand out to me. The only time I witnessed something bad was when Skillet's Dad came along and decided to do a bunch of dumb shit. The server seems quite populated as whenever I joined the always seemed to be at least 10 players and quite a few were new. The main problem with Orange in my opinion are hackers since the map is heaven for aimboting snipers and the only real way to combat that is by increasing admin activity. I believe the server mostly is fine at its current state but it could be way better as there is room for improvement.

 

I personally think it's fun dispite the free to plays and try hards/point leaches but I am on from 4 pm to 8 pm and I have a fun time with some mic spam but the admins are doing a amazing job
