New Games, New Servers?

Since the community is at a stand still right now we've been talking here and there about new or current games that we could expand towards to help with player and member growth.

I am going to keep this thread updated with a list of games our members would like to see servers for and then we can later vote on which one we think would be best for the community.

Maybe VG should "invest" by hosting Overwatch server? I don't know how that would work exactly but Overwatch is currently the talk of the town so it could boost up VG's player-base.

 

Overwatch has no community server support and from interviews it appears to not be a priority.

 

Overwatch is dedicated servers, there are no hosts.

 

CSGO zombie mod?

No Man's Sky is definitely something we need to look into immediately when it comes out. Although no one is sure how the multiplayer is going to work yet so it may not be a possibility

 

Does no man's sky really even have multi? I thought they finally said it was a solo player game.

 

Sort of like a Lobby style MP where you will see others around you if you happen to come across them, however I know one of the developers, Sean, has said that they plan on bringing in "traditional multiplayer" after release. Could mean anything just something to keep our eyes out for ya know

 

Good to know! I won't put it on the list till we are certain what will take place.

 

I know it's been brought up before but maybe G-mod RP? I know there will need to be an astronomical amount of moderators and admins but VG seems to have a lot right now so I think it should be considered a possibility to open a server there.

 

Oh well that sucks. Hopefully in the future they will add support.

 

With E3 starting Monday I'll be watching and probably adding new games to the list that we could possibly launch servers for once released.

 

CSGO surfing is pretty popular, and I know there are some TF2 servers as well.

 

How bout a csgo deathmach server.they used to be very popular.
Like an iceworld or whatever map.

 

Surf would be a decent choice. I'll add that to the list!

Maybe... Though there are tons of deathmatch servers now. So i'm not sure if we could populate one this late into the game.

Any idea when we would want to do a vote for this,
and after we get a game or 2 how would we decide what game modes to host
